To B(uy) or Not to B(uy)

This is the object in question:

Vintage Chanel loafers… in my size. And verrrrrrry reasonably priced (under USD $100). Gah, am I being seduced by the label and the price? Probably. Because otherwise, they could  just be another pair of boring brown loafers. But that’s the thing with Chanel: those interlocking C’s have some sort of voodoo power.

Help! I’m in a trance.
